I found Mr. Bogost’s talk hard to follow, just being such a novice in terms of Digital Humanities. However, I found his constant referral to the fact that he took risks by doing some things, but he always had an active “safety net” so-to-speak. That is definitely one thing I took away, he was active in an experimental unknown subject, yet he wasn’t scared to try something never before done and often it paid off. I think this concept should be actively followed in modern times, with the next venture that promises future success being an abstract thought or concept that has never been thought of before.
